Editor, journalist and photographer for some big German magazines and newspapers like “Süddeutsche Zeitung”, Weltbild, Bild + Funk as well as for radio station “Rundfunk Neues Europa”, author of books in German and English language. Lot of travel-writing, book-reviews, interviews and encounters with Paulo Coelho, Isabel Allende, Norman Mailer, Paul Anka, Waris Dirie, Michael York, Little Richard, Angela Merkel, John Irving, Minette Walters, Barbara Wussow, Nicholas Evans, Nicholas Sparks and much more. Lived in India for 16 months after the tsunami of 2004 to accompany the reconstruction and rehabilitation work by the international NGO of Caritas there. Wrote the book “Waves of Hope – Life after the tsunami” and produced two short films on the tsunami response.
